The following new features have been introduced in the Summer 2024 release of Report Builder.
If you are upgrading from a previous version, see Upgrading to Report Builder Summer 2024. This provides a summary of the items that have been added for each feature and details of any required upgrade steps.
Financial Report Builder is now Report Builder
Financial Report Builder has been renamed as Report Builder. The new name clarifies that Report Builder covers other types of reports in addition to financial reports.
We have updated all the relevant labels in Report Builder. If you are upgrading from a previous version of Report Builder, some labels might not be automatically updated.
Soft Dates and Report Table Enhancements
We have made improvements in Soft Dates and report tables.
Refresh Button within Report Table
We have introduced a Refresh button 
that enables you to refresh your table component and retrieve the latest transaction data.
Dynamic Soft Dates
You can now enter dynamic soft dates in any of your soft date custom labels. These enable you to use conditions based on the current date to qualify on data.
The custom label you enter to use dynamic soft dates depends on the time period and period format selected, rather than displaying generic date terms such as simply the period, quarter, or week.

Customizable Soft Dates
We have introduced customizable soft dates to enable you to create your own personalized soft dates by creating a new Period Configuration custom object.
You can import and export soft date configurations along with your reports, tailoring each report to the specific needs of your organization. However, configuration names must be unique. You cannot import a soft date configuration that already exists with the same name in your org.

Record-Based Filtering
You can now filter a record page based on a custom object field value. This enables you to filter by fields outside Analytics as long as said fields have corresponding fields within Analytics.
