The following features are optional. They offer more flexibility when billing contract line items.

Placing Contract Line Items On Hold for Billing
  1. Add the On Hold checkbox to your billing contract line item page layouts.
  2. Add the Place on Hold and Release for Billing actions to your billing contract line item page layouts. If you are using the packaged "Contract Line Item Lightning Page" lightning page that is assigned by the "Switch to Lightning Experience" feature, you do not need to add these actions to the page layout.
  3. Assign the following permission set to users who need the ability to place contract lines on hold: Billing Central - Contract - Apply Change Request
