Plan Fields

Here is a description of the fields on the Plan object.

Key: * – Mandatory field

Plan Fields

Field		Description
Analytics Value		Search and select the available values from Analytics of the Dimension selected in the Dimension column.
Data Source		The Extended Planning and Analysis data source which this plan is related to.
Data Source Description		The information about the data source.
Default Scenario		The default scenario of the plan. This scenario is displayed by default when you open the plan.
Description		The description of the plan.
Dimension		Search and select the dimension from the dataset to map the Analytics value.
Dimension 1 - 12		The first to the twelfth dimension that is used in this plan. The Dimension 1 field is mandatory.
Dimension Value Mappings		Stores the mapping of plan values in JSON format to retrieve data from a related dataset.
Locked		If selected, the plan and all its scenarios are locked and cannot be edited. Note: You can use this field in your custom approval processes.
Locking Job		For Certinia internal use only.
Measure 1 - 6		The first to the sixth measure that is used in this plan. The Measure 1 field is mandatory.
New Value		The new value to map the Analytics value.
Plan Name	*	The name of the plan.

Lightning Actions and Buttons

Here is a description of the Lightning actions and list buttons that are available on the Plan object.

Lightning Actions on the Plan Object

Button	Description	Displayed on the Plan Lightning Page
Clone Plan	Creates a copy of the plan and its scenarios. For more information, see Cloning a Plan.	Always displayed.
Delete Plan	Deletes the plan record. For more information, see Deleting a Single Plan. Note: This replaces the standard Salesforce Delete record button.	Always displayed.
Export as XLSX	Exports the currently visible plan table to an XLSX file. For more information, see Importing and Exporting Plans.	Always displayed.
Import from XLSX	Import the data from an XLSX file into the current scenario. For more information, see Importing and Exporting Plans.	Displayed when the Locked field on the plan record is deselected.
Lock Plan	Locks an unlocked plan and all its scenarios so that they cannot be edited. For more information, see Locking a Plan.	Displayed when the Locked field on the plan record is deselected.
Send to Analytics	Sends the plan to an Analytics dataset. For more information, see Send Plans to Analytics and Sending a Single Plan to Analytics.	Always displayed.
Unlock Plan	Unlocks a locked plan so that it can be edited again. For more information, see Unlocking a Locked Plan.	Displayed when the Locked field on the plan record is selected.

List Buttons on the Plan Object

Button	Description
Delete Plans	Deletes the selected plans. For more information, see Deleting Multiple Plans.
Send to Analytics	Sends the selected plans to Analytics datasets. For more information, see Send Plans to Analytics and Sending Multiple Plans to Analytics.

The Buttons are displayed on the Plan Builder page

Buttons	Description
	Enter the dimension name in the Search Dimension field and select it from the list.
	Enter the measure name in the Search Measure field and select it from the list.
Back to Dimensions List	Navigates dimensions to the Dimensions list.
Back to Measures List	Navigates measures to the Measures list.
Move to Next Position	Shifts the position of a dimension or measure to the next position.
Move to Previous Position	Moves the position of a dimension or measure to the most recently selected position.
Save	Saves the plan structure with dimensions and measures.
Send to Dimension Columns	Sends the dimension from the Dimensions List to the Dimension column.
Send to Dimension Rows	Sends the dimension from the Dimensions List to the Dimension row.
Send to Measures	Sends the measures from the Measures List to the Measure column.

Plan Buttons

Buttons/ Icons	Name	Description
Add Condition		Adds multiple filter configurations for the plan.
	Search Plans	Enter the plan name in the Search Plan field and select it from the drop-down list.
	Expand All	Expands all the groups in the plan table tree so that all the rows are displayed. Note: This option is only available when the plan is configured to display the plan table in tree view One of the available plan table views. Tree view establishes a hierarchy by grouping together rows that contain the same row-level dimension values, starting from the top level. You can only reorder rows within their respective groups. Tree view is suitable for plans that contain rows with a clear hierarchy..
	Collapse All	Collapses all the groups in the plan table tree so that only the top-level rows are displayed. Note: This option is only available when the plan is configured to display the plan table in tree view One of the available plan table views. Tree view establishes a hierarchy by grouping together rows that contain the same row-level dimension values, starting from the top level. You can only reorder rows within their respective groups. Tree view is suitable for plans that contain rows with a clear hierarchy..
	Update from Analytics	Updates the current scenario with the latest data from Analytics. For more information, see Update a Plan with the Latest Data from Analytics and Updating a Plan Scenario from Analytics.
	Show All Comments	Displays all the comment threads in the plan scenario. For more information, see Cell Comments in Plans.
	Undo	Undo an action on the Plan Lines tab toolbar.
	Redo	Redo an action on the Plan Lines tab toolbar.
	Add Row / Add Column	Adds rows and columns to the dimensions and measures.
	Add Total Row / Add Total Column	Adds total rows and columns to the dimensions and measures.
	Delete Delete Row / Delete Column	Deletes rows and columns from the dimensions and measure table. Deletes the filter condition from the Filter Configuration window.
New Row		Adds rows to the dimensions.
Save		Saves the plan with dimensions and measures and any applicable calculations.
	Show Full-Screen Plan	Shows a record's plan in full-screen mode.
	Hide Full-Screen Plan	Hides the full-screen plan on a record.
