Foundations Setup Scheduled Jobs

The Scheduled Jobs tab of the Foundations Setup page enables you to specify the time intervals on which Foundations delivers or deletes messages. The following default scheduled jobs are supplied with Foundations to enable you to do this:

Description

Apply User Information Enables you to create, update, or deactivate Salesforce users.
Generate Sequences Enables you to schedule a job to create document numbers for your documents. See Sequencing Overview.
Message Deletion Enables you schedule a job to delete Foundations messages that have exceeded their minimum retention time at the time interval of your choice. This job also deletes any messages that are not linked to a message type.
Message Delivery Enables you schedule a job to deliver Foundations messages at the time interval of your choice.

You can view and edit the scheduled jobs, set them to run at the specified intervals, or run them immediately.

Note:

To use the Scheduled Jobs tab, you must be assigned the permissions in the appropriate Foundations Message permission set, page access and permissions for the actions that you can carry out on that page.
