Generate Project Summary Prompt Template

The Generate Project Summary prompt template is available in the Salesforce Prompt Builder. This prompt template is used in generating the project summary using generative AI. The prompt template generates the summary when you click Get Einstein's help in creating this field value. against the Project Summary field on a project record.

Ensure that you are assigned the GenAI - Project Summary - View and Edit permission set.

Prompt Template Data Sources

The prompt template extracts the following information from the project:

  • Start date and end date of the project
  • Duration of the project in weeks. This is calculated from the start and end date.
  • Status of the project

  • Resource on the project:

    • Name
    • Role
    • Hours

  • Summary of the project's financials:

    • Budget:

      • Total amount of the budget
      • Amount consumed
      • Remaining amount
    • Bookings
    • Billings
    • Total cost
    • Actual Margin
