Item options define items that can be sold in addition to or instead of the item. Here is a description of the fields on the Item Option object.

| Active | Indicates whether the option is available for selection. |
| Default Option | Indicates whether the option is selected by default. |
| Extended Description | Additional information about the option. |
| Option | Name of the option record associated with this item option. |
| Option Description | Description of the option. |
| Option Name | Name of the option. |
| Option Quantity | Number of Option Items to be sold with the item master to which the item option relates. |
| Parent Item | Item master to which this option is assigned. |
| Quantity Per Parent | Number of items to add per parent item. |
