Setting up Suggested Skills for Resource Requests

Skill suggestions can be set up to be displayed when creating a resource request using the Create Resource Request action on a project or opportunity. Skill suggestions are based on the role, region, practice, and group specified in the resource request, and their alignment with skills from past assignments that share the same attributes. This data is generated by the Resourcing Adjacencies dataset in PS Cloud Core Analytics. To ensure that skill suggestions are displayed on a resource request, follow the steps and refer to the related Help pages. If any of these steps are not completed, skill suggestions will not be displayed.

Assign one of the following PS Cloud Advanced Analytics permission sets to users that you want to see suggested skills:

  • CRM Analytics Platform Admin
  • CRM Analytics Platform User
  • CRM Analytics Plus User
  • CRM Analytics Plus Admin

This is required for the Analytics data to be displayed in PSA.

3 Provide access for the createUserSessionId Visualforce page to the users that you want to see suggested skills. The permission is included in the PSA - Manage Resource Requests for a Project and PSA - Manage Resource Requests for an Opportunity permission sets.

  • Group

  • Region
