PS Cloud Analytics

PS Cloud Analytics brings the power of Analytics to your PSA data. In Analytics, lenses, dashboards, and datasets enable you to view, analyze, and perform actions on your data.

PS Cloud Analytics apps combine the data from PSA objects to create reportable, validated datasets that are based on common use cases, such as reporting on your project data, or analyzing the capacity, skills, or utilization data of your resources. Datasets are then used to create interactive dashboards that are based on customer use cases, such as project burnup, capacity and demand planning, or utilization summarization.

The apps available in PS Cloud Analytics are PS Cloud Core Analytics and PS Cloud Advanced Analytics. The PS Cloud Core Analytics app provides the data displayed in the dashboards created by the PS Cloud Advanced Analytics app. Therefore, depending on your business requirements, you can choose to create only a PS Cloud Core Analytics app, or a PS Cloud Core Analytics and a PS Cloud Advanced Analytics app.

PS Cloud Core Analytics

PS Cloud Core Analytics provides free access to seven out of the box, non-customizable dashboards. View only users can only access PS Cloud Core Analytics dashboards that are embedded in Lightning pages. The app also contains the datasets required to create dashboards in both PS Cloud Core Analytics and PS Cloud Advanced Analytics apps. Some datasets are generated as standard as part of your PS Cloud Core Analytics app creation, but you can choose to generate optional, additional datasets by selecting them on your PS Cloud Analytics Setup record before creating your app. For more information, see PS Cloud Analytics Setup Fields.

PS Cloud Advanced Analytics

PS Cloud Advanced Analytics provides access to up to 16 pre-validated dashboards, as well as access to Analytics Studio, where permitted users can clone and customize dashboards to suit their specific requirements.

The dashboards available in your PS Cloud Advanced Analytics app are determined by the data options selected in your PS Cloud Analytics Setup record before creating your app. For more information, see PS Cloud Analytics Setup Fields.
