Revenue Management Recognize All

This topic describes functionality relating to recognizing revenue or cost against source records (sometimes known as Actuals Refers to the original revenue recognition process where staging data is generated for source records. This Feature Console page allows you to complete the setup required to recognize revenue and cost against source records (sometimes known as Actuals Refers to the original revenue recognition process where staging data is generated for source records. The Recognize Revenue page and Recognize All use this process.) for all currencies and all recognition streams Source object groups. Each source object group has a primary source object and up to three additional levels of related source objects. Typical recognition streams might be Projects, Billing Contracts, and Sales Invoices.. For more information about this feature, see About Recognize All.

This feature has one automatic step to add the Grouped By field to page layouts for the Recognition Settings object:

1. Click Perform to run the step. When the step has completed, the Status changes from "Not Done" to "Done".
2. Use the Status slider in the Feature section to enable the feature.

Upgrades Only: Page Layout Change

This section is only applicable if you have upgraded to this version of Revenue Management, and you want to use the Recognize All feature.

The following field has been added to the Settings object. If you use custom page layouts for this object, manually add this field to your custom page layouts.

Fields Added by the Recognize All Feature

Object	Field Label	Description
Settings	Grouped By	The API name of the field on the source object that source records are grouped by, in addition to currency and recognition stream, when using Recognize All. The Recognize All process creates separate recognition transactions for each combination of currency, recognition stream, and this Grouped By field.
