Setting up the Services Estimator – Salesforce RLM Connector

Before you can use the Services Estimator – Salesforce RLM Connector you must:

  • Set up Services Estimator. For more information, see Setting up Services Estimator.
  • Set up Services Estimator – Salesforce RLM Connector. For more information, see the Salesforce Help.
  • Assign the relevant permissions to your users.
  • Add the Quote field to the Details tab in the Estimate page layout.
  • Add the Add to Quote button to the Estimate page layout.
  • In Setup, navigate to Salesforce Pricing Setup and click Sync.
Note:

The Services Estimator – Salesforce RLM Connector package is separate from the Services Estimator package. For more information, contact your Customer Support representative.

Supported Environment

Note:

From the Spring 2025 release, Services Estimator – Salesforce RLM Connector will require PSA and Foundations to be one version behind the latest seasonal release, rather than two. This means the Spring 2025 release will depend on the Winter 2025 version of PSA and Foundations being installed. Ensure you update PSA and Foundations to the Winter 2025 version ahead of the Spring 2025 of Services Estimator – Salesforce RLM Connector release to ensure compatibility.

Permission Sets

You must assign the following permission set to users who need to view and edit estimates in Services Estimator – Salesforce RLM Connector.

Permission Set Name Description
Services Estimator – Salesforce RLM Connector – Add Estimates to Quotes View and add an estimate to a Salesforce RLM quote.
