New Features and Enhancements in Services Estimator – Salesforce RLM Connector Winter 2025

The following new features have been introduced in the Winter 2025 release of Services Estimator – Salesforce RLM Connector.

Services CPQ is Now Services Estimator

Services CPQ has been renamed to Services Estimator. This rename better reflects the capabilities of the product as an estimation tool. As a result, we have renamed Services CPQ – Salesforce RLM Connector to Services Estimator – Salesforce RLM Connector.

Spring 2025 PSA and Foundations Dependency Update

From the Spring 2025 release, Services Estimator – Salesforce RLM Connector will require PSA and Foundations to be one version behind the latest seasonal release, rather than two. This means the Spring 2025 release will depend on the Winter 2025 version of PSA and Foundations being installed. Ensure you update PSA and Foundations to the Winter 2025 version ahead of the Spring 2025 release of Services Estimator – Salesforce RLM Connector to ensure compatibility.

Creating an Estimate from a Quote

You can now associate a quote with an estimate by creating an estimate directly from the quote, streamlining your estimation process. To do this, click Create Estimate on the Quote record page.

Adding an Estimate to Quote Enhancement

When you edit an estimate and add it to the quote again, the quote lines now automatically update with the new details. This includes deleting quote lines from the quote when the associated estimate product is deleted from the estimate. Previously, you had to delete the existing quote lines before clicking Add to Quote on the Estimate record page to avoid duplication. This eliminates the need for manual deletion, saving time, reducing errors, and ensuring your quotes remain accurate and up-to-date.
