Scheduling the Send to Analytics Process

Scheduling the send to Analytics process simplifies data management. It automatically pushes hourly updates from all plans and their scenarios with output data sources directly to Analytics, ensuring your datasets are current.

To schedule sending plans to Analytics:

  1. From the Planning Tasks Launcher tab, click Schedule Send to Analytics.
  2. Click Schedule.

All plans and their scenarios with output data sources are sent to Analytics in background jobs. Once scheduled, the process begins exactly on the hour and continues to run hourly as long as there is at least one plan with saved changes. If it is successful, you are notified by email. If you have permissions to do so, you can monitor and troubleshoot jobs from the Data Manager tab and from the Apex Jobs page in Setup. For more information, see the Salesforce Help.
