New Features and Enhancements in Foundations Spring 2025

The following new features have been introduced in the Spring 2025 release of Foundations.

(Beta) In-App Help Search

This feature is currently in beta. As it is still under development, you might experience some instability.

We have enhanced the Certinia Help Lightning component with a search bar, enabling you and your users to quickly search the Certinia Help from within an org. This streamlined self-service experience eliminates the need to navigate away from an org just to search our content.

Easily Define Self-Relationships with Datastream

Datastream now enables you to import records for objects with self-relationships. Self-related objects are those that link to themselves. For example, the Customer Quotation Line object includes a field called Parent Customer Quotation Line. This is a lookup field that links the Customer Quotation Line object to itself, enabling you to link multiple customer quotation lines with a parent customer quotation line.

Using Datastream, you can now create and relate records of the same object in a single action. For example, you can import data to create four customer quotation lines where two of them are the parent lines for the other two, all in the same data import operation.

Previously, this required two separate actions: first, creating the records without the self-relationships, and then updating those records to define the relationships in a second action. This enhancement streamlines your data import operations, saving you time when importing records for objects with self-relationships.

Enhancements to Asynchronous Process

We have added a new Process UUID field in the Async Job Record object that allows you to monitor the process of the asynchronous jobs. For more information, see Async Job Record Fields.
