Self-Assignment Fields

Here is a description of the fields and buttons on the Self-Assignment page.

Additional assignment fields might be visible on this page if they are included in your permissions, and your administrator has added them to the Self Assignment UI Assignment Fields field set. For more information, see Self Assignment UI Assignment Fields.

Self-Assignment Fields
Field		Description
Assignment Name		The name of the assignment Connection between a resource and a project..
Billable		Indicates if the assignment is billable.
Cost Rate Amount		The hourly or daily costs incurred for the resource A contact that works on a project.. Note: Depending on whether the self-assignment-default-cost-rate configuration option is true or false and if the FLS permissions have been assigned or not, this field may be read-only or editable. For more information, see Self-Assignment.
Nickname		Your alias for the assignment name.
Project	*	The project A collection of activities and related items to be managed over a defined time range, such as timecards, expenses, milestones and budgets. to assign yourself to. Only projects where your project manager has set the Allow Self-staffing option are listed.
Resource Name	R	Your resource name.
Schedule Pattern	*	The hours per day to schedule for this assignment. Using Classic or Lightning Visualforce Pages Respect holidays in a resources work calendar for assignment creation.
Schedule Pattern - Repeat Every n Weeks		The frequency at which the schedule pattern repeats. It defaults to 1 which means that the pattern repeats each week for the duration of the assignment. Enter a different number if you want to set a different frequency for the pattern to repeat. For example, if you enter 4 the pattern from week 1 will repeat on week 5, week 9, and so on for the duration of the assignment. This field cannot be removed from the Self-Assignment page.
Start/End Date	*	The start and end dates for the assignment.
