Skill Suggestions Overview
Skill suggestions for resource requests are based on the role, region, practice, and group specified in the resource requests. Skills suggestions are also based on their alignment with the following:
- Skills from past assignments that share the same attributes
- Skills that relate to the attributes of resources that have those skills associated
Sub-regions, sub-practices, and sub-groups can also be considered when suggesting skills.
If 50 or more resource skill requests exist for past assignments, skill suggestions are entirely based on skills from past assignments. If there are less than 50 resource skill requests, skill suggestions are based on both skills from past assignments and resource skills. This ensures meaningful suggestions when there is not enough past assignment data to suggest skills.
This data is generated by the Resourcing Adjacencies dataset in PS Cloud Core Analytics. For more information about the fields in the dataset, see Resourcing Adjacencies Dataset PS Cloud Analytics Output Fields.
