Project Task Board Lightning Component Properties

This table lists the fields available in the Properties panel of the Lightning App Builder for the Project Task Board Lightning component.

Record ID

Only applies to Experience Cloud sites.

The ID of the record displayed in the component. This property supports using an expression. The default expression ensures the correct record detail page is displayed automatically, provided you have placed this component on an object page. If you have placed the component on another record page, you must enter the record ID for the relevant project record.

Pixel Height The component height in pixels. You can enter a value from 100 to 10,000 pixels. 400 pixels

Task Editing

The method to use to edit tasks displayed on the Project Task Board. You can select from the following:

  • Use Task Details Custom Field Set Edit: Users can customize the fields displayed in the Edit Tasks window. If no custom fields are selected, the default fields are displayed.
  • Off: Users cannot edit tasks from the Project Task Board.
  • Use Salesforce Standard Edit: Users can edit tasks using the Salesforce native editing window.

Task Details Custom Fields Field Set

The field set on the Project Task object that contains the custom fields you want to display on the Task tab of the Record Details panel. Ensure users viewing the Project Task Board have permission to view these fields.

If None is selected or the selected field set contains no valid fields, the following fields are displayed by default: Start Date and Time, End Date and Time, Estimated Hours, Actual Hours, Milestone, Assigned Resources (Long), WBSClosed Work Breakdown Structure Element Number.

Milestone Custom Fields Field Set

The field set on the Project Task object that contains the custom fields you want to display on the Milestone tab of the Record Details panel. Ensure users viewing the Project Task Board have permission to view these fields.

If None is selected or the selected field set contains no valid fields, the default fields are displayed.

Task Filter Custom Fields Field Set

The field set on the Project Task object that contains the task filter fields you want to display in the filter panel.

If None is selected or the selected field set contains no valid fields, the following fields are displayed by default: Tasks Starting Before, Task Involvement, Tasks Ending After, Task Timeline, Project Task Name, Resource, Resource Roles, External Resource.

Use Task Colors If selected, tasks on the Project Task Board change color based on their end date and whether they are complete. Selected
Enable Manage Resources If selected, the Manage Resources on Project Task window can be accessed from a project task. Selected
Show Preferences Panel If selected, Show Preferences Panel is displayed on the Project Task Board. Use this button to open the Preferences panel. Selected
