The Billed and Unbilled Revenue Recognized Records by Project Name lens, which uses the Project Reporting dataset, enables you to manage project revenue and month-end financial adjustments.

This lens helps you:

• Accurately identify billed and unbilled revenue for projects linked to a general ledger account.
• Efficiently manage revenue recognition and streamline month-end adjustments.
• Precisely calculate the adjustment amounts required to balance your deferred and accrued GLAs at month-end.

This is particularly beneficial for Accountants who recognize revenue using PSA objects, such as project milestones or timecards. While initial revenue recognition generates journals, this lens ensures you have the exact Unbilled Revenue Recognized value needed for the necessary reversing journals. The reversing journals are crucial for balancing the debit and credit sides of your balance sheet at month-end.

Deferred Revenue GLA and Billed Recognized Revenue

The Deferred Revenue GLA and Billed Recognized Revenue columns allow you to see how much revenue has been recognized and how much is projected to be deferred in the future.

• Recognized revenue values are sourced directly from committed revenue recognition transactions within Revenue Management.
• Billed recognized revenue represents the total of all recognized revenue transaction lines associated with a project record where the "Billed" status is marked as true.
• Deferred revenue GLA values are pulled from Accounting.

Billed and Recognized Revenue	The total amount that has been recognized and billed for the project.	The sum of the Summary Amount values of the billing and recognized events related to the project that have the Billed checkbox selected.
Unbilled and Recognized Revenue	The total amount that has been recognized but not yet billed for the project.	The sum of the Summary Amount values of the unbilled and recognized events related to the project that have the Billed checkbox deselected.
