(Beta) Creating the Services Forecast Reporting Dataset

The Services Forecast Reporting dataset combines data from the Services Forecast Live and Services Forecast Plans datasets created in PSA. For more information, see (Beta) PS Cloud Core Analytics Services Forecasting Overview.

Warning:

Services Forecasting is Beta functionality in this release. Further development is required to deliver a fully functional solution. Contact Certinia Support.

Revenue Forecasting is unaffected and continues to work in the same way as before.

To create the dataset, you must be signed in as an administrator, or equivalent. We recommend that you complete the steps in the order shown.

In WorkGrid, create the following:

  • An input data source for the Services Forecast Live dataset, ensuring that the Analytics Dataset API Name field has the value ServicesForecastLive.
  • An output data source for the Services Forecast Plans dataset, ensuring that the Analytics Dataset API Name field has the value ServicesForecastPlans.

4. In your PS Cloud Analytics Setup record, select Services Forecast. If the field is not available, you must add it to your PS Cloud Analytics Setup record manually. For more information, see PS Cloud Analytics Setup Fields. PS Cloud Analytics Setup Fields
