Custom Contact Fields

Contacts are part of the underlying Salesforce platform.

See the Salesforce Help for a description of the standard fields that make up a contact. The Certinia applications extend the standard Contact object to include the following custom fields.

Key:* – Mandatory field

Descriptions of checkbox settings describe the selected (true) case.

Custom Contact Fields
Field   Description
Collections Communication Contact   Indicates that you want to send collections communications to this contact.
Collections Communication Preference  

A picklist defining the preferred collections communication method for the contact. The options are:

  • Email (the default)
  • Post
Enable Email Notifications (FM Community)   Indicates that you want to send this contact an email message when a billing document, sales invoice, or sales credit note is posted. The contact also needs to be set up as a community member. See the Salesforce Help for information on how to set up a Salesforce community.
