Submitting and Recalling Timecards in Time Entry Grid

Submitting Timecards

You can submit timecards so that they are included in Salesforce reporting.

Note:

If you don't have Edit permission for the Submitted field on the CS Timecard object, then the Submit and Recall buttons do not display. Contact your administrator.

To submit timecards:

  1. Do one of the following:
    • Select the timecards you want to submit, then click Submit.
    • Click Submit to submit all available timecards.
  2. [Optional] If there are unsaved changes, click Save or Discard to save or discard the changes before submitting the timecards.
Note:

Submitted timecards and their associated child records are read only.

Recalling Timecards

You can recall timecards so that they are no longer included in Salesforce reporting. Recalled timecards can also be edited.

To recall timecards:

  1. Do one of the following:
    • Select the timecards you want to recall, then click Recall.
    • Click Recall to recall all available timecards.
  2. [Optional] If there are unsaved changes, click Save or Discard to save or discard the changes before recalling the timecards.
