Upgrading to Order and Inventory Management Summer 2025

This page describes the changes to make when upgrading to Summer 2025.

Ability to Disable Backorders for Warehouses

Upgrade Steps

To upgrade this feature to Summer 2025, take the following action.

Action Further Information
Add the Disable Backorders field to any of the page layouts that your org uses for the Warehouse object.

Warehouse Fields

Make sure that the Warehouse Lightning Page is assigned as the default Lightning page for the Warehouse object. You can assign the page at the org, app, and profile levels for all your users. This is required because a new Lightning page has been added. See the Salesforce Help for more information.

Make the following changes to the Warehouse Layout page layout in order to add the new Information and System Information sections available:

  1. Add a new section at the top of the layout named Information.
  2. Add the following fields to the Information section:
    • Warehouse Name
    • Active
    • ICP
    • Default
    • Address
    • Disable Backorders
  3. Add a new section at the bottom of the page layout named System Information.
  4. Add the following fields to the System Information section and mark them as read-only:
    • Created By
    • Last Modified By
    • Owner
