Cloning Success Plans

You can clone an existing success plan using the Clone Success Plans quick action button available on success plan record pages. This enables you to create new success plans and success plan templates.

Once you have cloned a success plan, you are directed to the new record, where you can update the information as required.

To clone a success plan:

1. Go to the record page of your existing success plan.
2. Click Clone Success Plan.
3. Update the name of your new success plan.
4. Select Template to make your new success plan available for selection as a success plan template.
5. Click Clone. The new success plan or success plan template opens.

Notes:

• When the success plan only has one record type associated with it, the cloned values are copied from the objective's page layout fields and the fields from the Create Objective Fields field set. If the record has more than one record type associated with it, only the values from the page layout are cloned.
• All playbook task values are copied from the fields contained in the Create Playbook Task Fields field set.
• When you clone templates from non-templates and vice versa, the new cloned success plan and any of its associated records are not associated with the parent records of the original objective you cloned from.
