Mass Update From Analytics Process

You can schedule a mass update from Analytics for the default scenario created from and linked to a data source. This eliminates the need for manual updates, ensuring data is kept current across multiple forecasts automatically. Use filters to select the scenarios and set the specific time for the update process.

Note:

When you update scenarios from plans created using multiple plan creation, any columns that have been reordered manually after plan creation are reverted to their original state.

To complete the Mass Update from Analytics process:

  1. Navigate to the Planning Task Launcher.
  2. Click Update from Analytics. The Update from Analytics wizard opens.
  3. In the Filters section, search for your default scenario by using the following filters:

    1. Select the data source the scenarios belong to.
    2. [Optional] Insert a full or partial plan name. Any forecast containing the matching text appears.
    3. [Optional] Select the category that the scenarios belong to.
    4. [Optional] Select the sub-category that the scenarios belong to.
    5. [Optional] Select the label assigned to the scenarios.
    6. Click Apply. The plans selected based on the filtering criteria appear in the Plans section. If you want to add or remove a scenario from the list, adjust your filters in steps a-f or click Clear to remove all filters.
