Improve Your User Experience with Expanded Lightning

We’ve made some improvements to ensure you gain an enhanced Lightning experience when using Order and Inventory Management features. These improvements span across various functionalities, ensuring a seamless and more productive workflow.

Managing Sales Orders and Sales Order Lines with Upgraded Lightning Pages

We've rearranged the fields displayed on both the Sales Order and Sales Order Line Item objects' Highlights Panel, detail page, and related lists. We've updated the compact layouts and the page layouts to refine each section to present more concise and relevant details.

In addition, we've also reordered the Lightning actions available on the Sales Order Line Item object. The sequence of these actions has been carefully considered to ensure records are managed efficiently.

We've also improved field labels for these two objects to offer a more cohesive experience. The comprehensive layout reorganization along with the enhanced field guidance enable users to navigate extensive data and quickly connect information more logically and intuitively.

Streamlining Order Fulfillment Processes with the OIM Sales Order Line Items Grid

With a clear and intuitive interface, the new OIM Sales Order Line Items grid enables users to manage multiple line items within a sales order, reducing the time spent on manual data entry. The grid provides a comprehensive view of all line items, which makes tracking quantities, pricing, condition, and other critical details a more efficient process.

Pricing Customer Quotation Lines with Lightning

You can now directly price your customer quotations from the record page with the new Price Lightning action. This action is available when customer quotations are in a status of "Open" or "Not Priced". Users can now efficiently generate accurate pricing for their customers without leaving the current record view, ensuring a more integrated and user-friendly experience.

We've also introduced a new compact layout and updated the page layouts for the Customer Quotation object. This redesigned interface provides a more cohesive overview of the available information and Lightning actions.

This feature aims to improve productivity and reduce the time spent on administrative tasks related to sales and customer management.

Managing Customer Quotation Lines with Upsell Items

We've improved field labels for the Customer Quotation Line and the Up Sell Cross Sell objects. These enhancements are designed to provide a cleaner display of key information, so you can quickly identify critical details about which items or lines are mandatory in your Order Fulfillment processes.

Deprecating Workflow Rule to Align with Salesforce

We've deactivated the Sourcing Response workflow rule and it can't be used anymore. We no longer support this feature and it'll be removed in a future release. As this is a packaged workflow rule that can't be migrated using Flow Builder, we recommend working with your administrator to implement a custom plan for migration if you want to keep using this feature. For more information, see Deprecated Elements and the Salesforce Help.
