(Beta) Managing the Services Forecast Live Dataset

The Services Forecast Live dataset includes information about revenue, costs, and margin in PSA and is used as a basis for creating services forecast plans.

Warning:

Services Forecasting is Beta functionality in this release. Further development is required to deliver a fully functional solution. Contact Certinia Support.

Revenue Forecasting is unaffected and continues to work in the same way as before.

You can:

• Schedule the Services Forecast Live dataset to update at set intervals, such as hourly. For more information, see (Beta) Scheduling Updates to the Services Forecast Live Dataset.
• Update the Services Forecast Live dataset on demand. For more information, see (Beta) Updating the Services Forecast Live Dataset On Demand.

Note:

When updating the dataset on demand you can run a full dataset update by selecting the Full Dataset Update on Run Now checkbox. This replaces all existing data with the latest data instead of only updating the fields that have changed since the last update.

You cannot run a full update when scheduling the dataset to update at set intervals.

The Services Forecast Live dataset is created automatically in Analytics the first time a scheduled job to update the dataset is triggered, or the first time you update the dataset on demand by clicking Run Now.
