Setting up an RPG

You must set up your Region, Practice and Group hierarchy before you start using PSA.

Note:

Only one top-level Region, Practice, or Group is allowed.

To create an RPGClosed Abbreviation of region, practice, group.:

  1. Click the Regions, Practices or Groups tab depending on the record that you want to create.
  2. Click New.

    Tip:

    If you have created your top-level region, practice or group and want to create sub-regions, sub-practices or sub-groups, do so using the New Region, New Practice or New Group button on the Immediate Sub-Regions, Immediate Sub-Practices, Immediate Sub-Groups related list of the record that you want to be the parent.

    Once you have created your regions, practices, and groups, you can check their hierarchy using the Region, Practice, or Group Hierarchy popup. See Viewing RPG Hierarchy. You can edit the Parent Region, Parent Practice, or Parent Group field in your records if required.

  3. Complete the fields described in Region, Practice, and Group Fields.
  4. Click Save.
Note:

If any region, practice, or group is marked as Inactive, these regions, practices, and groups are excluded from and are not displayed in the search results. You can only select RPGs from the dropdown that are active.
