Dated Resource Rate Fields

Warning:

The dated resource cost rates feature is Beta functionality in this release of PSA. Do not adopt it except in sandbox environments. Further development is required to deliver a fully functional solution.

The dated resource rate record includes the following fields.

End Date Yes No

The date after which the rate no longer applies. The end date is automatically updated when:

  • A dated resource rate record is created before an existing successive record.
  • The start date of the dated resource rate record is changed so that it has a different successive record.
  • A successive dated resource rate record is added.
  • The start date of the existing successive dated resource rate record is updated.
  • The existing successive dated resource rate record is deleted.
  • A successive record that has been deleted is restored.
Start Date No Yes The date from which the rate applies. You cannot set the same start date for multiple dated resource rates on the same rate card.
Name Yes No A name that uniquely identifies the dated resource rate, in the format DRR-{0000000}.
Rate No Yes The rate to use from the start date.
Rate Card No No The rate card that the dated resource rate belongs to. You cannot re-parent the dated resource rate to a different rate card.
