Staffing Preference Fields

Here is a description of the fields that make up a staffing preference record. Some of these fields might not be visible or editable at all times, or in all package combinations.

Staffing Preference Fields
Field   Description
Staffing Preference Name * The name of the staffing preference record.
Resource Search Settings   The resource search settings to use when staffing. If blank, the Resource Search Service custom setting values are used.
Scheduling Strategy  

The scheduling strategy to use when staffing, unless your org is configured to retain a resource request's preferred schedule. If this field is blank and the preferred schedule is not retained, the default scheduling strategy specified in the Assignment Settings custom setting is used.

Note:

The following scheduling strategies are currently unavailable as staffing preferences: Percent Allocation and Custom.
Minimum Availability  

The minimum availability percentage required for resources to be considered for staffing. Must be a whole percentage between 0 and 100 inclusive.

If blank, resources must have 100% availability to be matched by auto-staffing.
