Timecard Adjustments

When making adjustments to timecards, an audit trail is recorded through timecard adjustments records. Timecard adjustment records are available to view in the Timecard Adjustments related list on the timecard record page, enabling you to view the adjustments made to timecards after approval.

The following fields are displayed for timecard adjustment records:

  • Adjustment Number
  • Original Timecard
  • New Timecard
  • Adjustment Reason

Adjusting an approved timecard cancels the existing timecard, overwriting it with a new timecard. These are linked in the timecard adjustment record, enabling you to ease of access when viewing records associated with your adjustments.

Note:

You cannot open canceled timecards in Timesheet Entry.

You can also make adjustments on behalf of another user, when using delegated time entry in Timesheet Entry. Contact your administrator for more information.
