Synchronizing PSA Resources to Jira Users

To sync a resource to a Jira user, enter the Jira username in the field Jira Correlation ID.

Note: For a resource to be synced to Jira, the Email field must be populated with a unique email address.

When you edit an eligible resource in PSA, the connector updates the related user in Jira.

Notes:

• If you are using Jira Cloud, when you edit a resource in PSA the changes aren't synced with the related user in Jira. This is due to Jira limitations. If you edit a Jira user, you must do so manually in both applications.
• Jira users are not deleted or deactivated if the Is Resource field or the Is Resource Active field are deselected in PSA. If you delete or deactivate a Jira user, you must do so manually in Jira.

If an error occurs during the synchronization, the PSA user who created or updated the resource receives an email notification and a Foundations error message is created.
