Creating an App from Revenue Management Analytics App Template

The app template for Revenue Management Analytics enables you to generate an app that contains dashboards, recipes, and datasets.

The timing for your first Revenue Management Analytics app to be generated depends on the volume of information stored within your org and whether you have turned on specific features in Analytics.

If the Data Sync and Connections feature and the Incremental Sync connection mode are not enabled in your org, we recommend enabling them. Enabling these features can improve the performance of the app generation. For more information, see the Salesforce Help.

Creating a Revenue Management Analytics App

To create the Revenue Management Analytics App:

  1. Navigate to Recognition Management.
  2. Click Create App. The installation of the Revenue Management Analytics app starts.
  3. Go to Setup | Auto-Installed Apps to check the installation progress.

You can view the app from the Analytics tab, or edit it from Analytics Studio.

By default, when you generate an app, the sharing settings are set to private.

To give access to other users, click . This opens the app's Give Access tab. For more information about sharing Analytics apps, see the Salesforce Help.

Tip:

To ensure that your data is always up to date, we recommend that you schedule jobs to run the recipe. For more information on scheduling a recipe to run automatically, see the Salesforce Help.
