Creating an Estimate Pricing Method

To create an estimate pricing method:

  1. From the App Launcher, go to the Services Estimator Administration tab.
  2. In the Services Estimator Pricing section, click Manage Estimate Pricing Methods.
  3. Click New.
  4. Enter a name for the estimate pricing method.
  5. Enter the name of the Apex plugin class that implements the pricing logic related to this estimate pricing method.
  6. [Optional] Enter a description for the estimate pricing method.
  7. Select the Active checkbox to activate the estimate pricing method.
  8. Click Save.

To apply an estimate pricing method to an estimate product:

  1. From the App Launcher, go to the Estimate Products tab.
  2. Go to the estimate product that you want to add an estimate pricing method to.
  3. In the Estimate Pricing Method field, select a pricing method.
  4. Click Save.

Alternatively:

  1. On an estimate record, click the Builder subtab.
  2. In the Estimate Builder toolbar, click Manage Products.
  3. Click Add Estimate Products.
  4. Select one or more estimate products to add to the estimate.
  5. Click Next.
  6. In the Billing Details section, use the Estimate Pricing Method field to search for and select the required pricing method.
  7. Click Add, then Save.

You can also add an estimate pricing method to an estimate product via the Pricing Method column in the Estimate Builder.
