Manage Resource Grouping Overview

You can configure and preview how resource requests are consolidated using the Manage Resource Grouping button in the Estimate Builder. This enables you to set and review the grouping criteria that will be applied to resource requests once the estimate is added to an opportunity or used to create a project.

You can use the dynamic preview in the Manage Resource Grouping window to see in real-time how your resource requests will be consolidated. This enables you to make the necessary adjustments as you build the estimate.

You can consolidate resource requests by selecting grouping criteria such as Estimate Line Set, Estimate Task, and Skills/Certifications. All required grouping fields are detailed in the tooltip.
