(Beta) Configuring the Open Record Action for Services Forecast Live and Services Forecast Plans Datasets
You must configure the Open Salesforce Record action for the relevant dimensions in the Services Forecast Live and Services Forecast Plans datasets. This is required to:
- Enable opening source records directly from a forecast.
- Populate record IDs when sending an adjusted forecast back to Analytics.

Download the following files:
- From Analytics Studio, open the PS Cloud Core Analytics app.
- For the Services Forecast Live dataset, click
and then click Edit. - Under Extended Metadata File, next to ServicesForecastLive.xmd.json, click
and then click Replace. - Select the ServicesForecastLive.xmd.json file that you downloaded in step 1. Once the process finishes, the Services Forecast Live dataset is configured.
- Open the PS Cloud Core Analytics app.
- For the Services Forecast Plans dataset, click
and then click Edit. - Under Extended Metadata File, next to ServicesForecastPlans.xmd.json, click
