Create CS Activity Window Fields

The following table describes the fields in the Create CS Activity window when creating a CS activity from an app page, workspace, or Activity Tracker.

Note:

Fields in the Create CS Activity window are customizable. Your administrator manages the visibility of these fields such as, Account, Success Plan, Objectives, Objective KPI, Playbook, Expansion Opportunity, Type, and Notes through field sets. Available fields vary based on your organization's requirements. For more information, see CS Activity Field Sets.

Activity Details

Fields

Field Description
Account

Lookup to the related account for the CS activity. If you are creating the CS activity from an account record page, this field is automatically populated with the account that the CS activity is created from, but it can be edited if required.

Notes:
  • The Account field on the Create CS Activity window remains visible, irrespective of its inclusion in the field set. If you select the Activity Account Not Required field in the CS Cloud Account Settings custom setting, the field set then determines the visibility of the Account field.
  • This field is optional if the Activity Account Not Required field is selected in the CS Cloud Account Settings custom setting.
Contact Lookup to the contacts to associate with the CS activity.
Date The date of the CS activity.
Notes Notes for the CS activity.
Product

The product associated with the CS activity.

Note: Associating a CS activity with a product creates a CS activity product record. You can only select products that are also associated with the closest parent record in the hierarchy. This ensures that the products available to associate with the CS activity respect the record hierarchy.
Summary A summary of the CS activity.
Type The type of CS activity.

Playbook Tasks

Fields

Fields in the Playbook Tasks Section in the Create CS Activity Window
Field Description
Playbook Task Name The name of the playbook task.
Playbook The playbook associated with the task.
Resources The resources assigned to the task.
Duration in Days The number of days between the playbook task's start and completion. Updating this value automatically extends or reduces the end date.
Start Date The start date of the task. Changing this date recalculates the playbook task's duration in days.
End Date The end date of the task. Changing this date recalculates the playbook task's duration in days.
Status

The current status of the task. By default, Draft is selected.

Note: Selecting some statuses can automatically set the playbook task to completed. For more information, contact your administrator.

Buttons

Button Description
Add Task Adds a new row to the Playbook Tasks grid enabling you to create a playbook task record.
Delete Tasks Deletes selected tasks.
