Setting up CS Presentation Templates

CS presentation templates can be used to export various Customer Success Cloud content, such as business review summaries. Administrators create CS presentation templates so that customer success managers can select them when exporting business review summaries.

Designing an Effective CS Presentation Template

Before you create a CS presentation template, consider the following tips to make sure each section of the summary is exported correctly. For the full list of supported placeholders, see CS Presentation Template Mappings.

  • Use the placeholder names exactly as documented. Placeholder recognition is case-sensitive, so match the spelling and capitalization according to the CS presentation template mappings.
  • Type or paste each placeholder in a single, continuous action, with no spaces inside or between the curly brackets. Keeping the placeholder as one unbroken string allows it to be recognized during export.
  • Place each placeholder in a text box of its own. To keep static headings or labels visible alongside the AI-generated content, use separate text boxes for them.
  • Apply formatting such as bold, color, font size, or strike-through to a placeholder, or to the text box that contains it. The exported content uses the same formatting as the placeholder, so you can style the placeholder to set how the exported summary looks.
  • Apply formatting consistently across the entire placeholder. Uniform formatting keeps the placeholder intact and carries your chosen styling through to the exported summary.
