The Plan Template object includes the following fields.

| Data Source | * | The data source used when creating plans from the template. |
| Delete Obsolete Plan Data | If selected, when you run Update from Analytics, the process overwrites plan data to match the Analytics dataset and deletes obsolete dimensions, measures, and cell values. Adjustments and comments linked to the deleted cells are also removed. Plans created from the template inherit this setting. | |
| Description | The description of the plan template. | |
| Output Data Source | Stores the output data source used when sending plans to Analytics. | |

The category of the plan template. The following values are available by default:
