WorkGrid Notification Settings Fields

The WorkGrid Notification Settings custom setting is used to control the behavior of notifications sent by WorkGrid. It includes the following fields.

Warning:

Only the org-level values are used. If you define values for a profile or a user, those are ignored.

Field Description
Cell Comment Email Notifications

If selected, when a new comment is added to a plan cell, an email notification is sent to the users following the comment thread.

Note:

Users follow a thread if they commented on the thread or were mentioned by another user.

This is deselected by default.
Cell Comment Salesforce Notifications

If selected, when a new comment is added to a plan cell, a Salesforce notification is sent to the users following the comment thread.

Users follow a thread if they commented on the thread or were mentioned by another user.

This is selected by default.
Group Cell Comment Emails on Save

If selected, when multiple comments are added in a single save operation, users following multiple comment threads receive a single summary email. When deselected, users receive a separate email for each comment.

Notes:
  • This only applies when Cell Comment Email Notifications is selected.
  • Users follow a thread if they commented on the thread or were mentioned by another user.

This is selected by default.
