Compare Resources on Resource Requests Overview
The Compare Resources window allows you to examine the details of up to 10 resources to determine the most suitable resource to be held or assigned to the resource request.
You can right-click a column header to hide or show an individual resource and drag and drop column headers to reorder them. You can use the
button to hold, unhold, and assign a resource. If you click Compare when no resource is selected, the top three suggested resources appear in the Compare Resources window.
The window is organized into the following primary sections.
- Credentials
- Details
- Skills and Certifications
Above the main sections, the following fields are displayed by default:
- Shortlist Status
- Candidate Type
- Rank
- Match Quality
Credentials
In the Credentials section, the resource's role, region, practice, group, availability or schedule availability, and worked with customer status are displayed by default.
Availability is displayed as a percentage within a horizontal bar:
- A blue bar indicates that the resource has available capacity within the time period.
- A gray bar indicates that the resource is over allocated within the time period.
Other credentials are displayed with an indicator:
- Matching criteria are indicated by
. - Non-matching criteria are indicated by

Details
Administrator can add custom fields via field sets in the Details section of the Compare Resources window. The Details section is only displayed if your administrator has selected a field set. For more information, contact your administrator.
Skills and Certifications
The Skills and Certifications section allows you to compare a resource's specific qualifications against the requirements defined for a project or role. Use the visual match indicators to identify if a resource is qualified for an assignment:
- Matching criteria are indicated by
. - Non-matching criteria are indicated by
.
The status at the top of the section indicates the number of required skills that each resource matches.
- All Skills and Certifications are displayed when the resource meets or exceeds every requirement listed.
- X/Y Skills and Certifications are displayed when the resource meets only a portion of the requirements.

Criteria for the required skills are indicated by your selection in the Manage Skills window:
- Must Match All displays when All Skills and Certifications are selected.
- Must Match Any displays when Any Skill or Certification is selected.
