Skills Management Global Settings

The Skills Management Global Settings custom setting contains settings for skills and certifications management for all users in your org.

Resource Skill Suggestion Trigger

Determines when notifications for skill suggestions are automatically sent. The only valid values are:

  • AssignmentClosed: The sending is triggered when an assignment is closed.
  • ScheduledJob: The sending is handled by a scheduled job.

Skill Suggestions: Assignment Day Range

The number of days to search for closed assignments when generating skill suggestions for resources. If you leave this field blank, the default value is used.

Suggested Resource Skills Location The API name of the app page that contains the PSA Manage Skills and Certifications component. When a user clicks a notification, they are redirected to the Manage Skills and Certifications window in that app page to view skill suggestions. Only app pages are supported. When blank, users are redirected to the Manage Skills and Certifications window in the component directly. The component must be added directly to the page, outside Salesforce standard container components such as the Tabs and Accordion components. Otherwise, the Manage Skills and Certifications window will not open when clicking a notification. Blank
