New Features and Enhancements in PSA AI Agent Service Spring 2026
The following new features have been introduced in the Spring 2026 release of PSA AI Agent Service.

Improve Assignment Reallocation Using the Certinia Work Reallocation Agent
We have renamed the Certinia Staffing Agent to Certinia Work Reallocation Agent to accurately reflect the scope of the agent. Additionally, we have made several enhancements to the reallocation process.
You can now specify whether you want to reallocate a resource's billable or non-billable assignments, or both. This enables a more granular reallocation of assignments.
When swapping resources on assignments, you can now use a resource of your choice instead of the one suggested by the agent. You can also ask the agent to search for alternative resources, compare them, and provide information about the criteria used in the resource search. If you want to allocate a new resource in the future, you can replace the assignment with a resource request ready to staff and, optionally, hold a resource for that resource request. This gives you more flexibility and control over the process. Now, if an assignment has a resource request with staffing preferences associated, the criteria defined in the preferences is now used in the search.
You also have the flexibility to change the start date for the resource request that you initially indicated when splitting to a new resource request.
Finally, you can now interact with the Certinia Work Reallocation agent in the languages that your administrator defines.

Certinia Project Assistant Agent
The following enhancements have been made to the actions available in the Certinia Project Assistant agent.
Enhance the Query Timecards for Specified Projects Action
We have enhanced the Query Timecards for Specified Projects action to provide deeper visibility into project hours and approval workflows. You can now use the agent to identify timecards awaiting approval, visualize discrepancies in submitted hours, and pinpoint specific team members with pending submissions.
The agent now supports more flexible date ranges, allowing you to query timecard history using specific dates or relative timeframes, such as the last month. To streamline reviews, the agent now indicates if notes are associated with a record and can provide a day-by-day breakdown of activities. Additionally, the agent can now proactively flag missing timecards by comparing a resource's assignments and schedule against existing records to highlight gaps in submissions.

Enhance the Query Milestones for Specified Projects
The Query Milestones for Specified Projects action now provides deeper visibility into milestone health and revenue impact. You can filter milestones by specific timeframes and utilize the new hour consumption analysis to compare planned versus actual hours. For milestones with defined limits, the agent now calculates predicted end dates based on your current burn rate and proactively flags those at risk of exceeding their allocation. Additionally, the agent now distinguishes between billable and non-billable statuses on milestones, ensuring a clearer understanding of a project's financial standing.
