Creating a Custom Rollup Rule

To create a custom rollup rule:

  1. In the App Launcher, search for and select Custom Rollup Rules.
  2. Click New.
  3. In the Custom Rollup Rule Name field, enter a name for the rule.
  4. In the Operator field, select SUM.
  5. In the Source Object field, select Role Request.
  6. In the Source Field API Name field, enter the API name of the field on the estimate role request whose values you want to consolidate. If the field belongs to a managed package, include the namespace prefix.
  7. In the Target Object field, select the estimate hierarchy level to receive the consolidated value.
  8. In the Target Field API Name field, enter the API name of the custom field on the target object that will store the result. The field must not belong to any managed package.
  9. [Optional] Enter a description.
  10. [Optional] Select Active to enable the rule.
  11. Click Save.
Note:

If the source and target fields are Currency type, ensure they use the same currency.
