Resolving a Comment Thread in a Forecast Cell

If you have read and write access to a forecast, you can resolve a comment thread to mark it as complete. You can only do this if the cell contains a value. This might be useful if the comments have already been actioned on and are no longer relevant. When a thread is resolved, you must reopen it to add new comments to it.

To resolve a thread:

  1. Open the forecast that contains the comment thread you want to resolve.
  2. Right-click the cell that contains the thread you want to resolve.
  3. In the header above the comments, click Show Menu.
  4. Click Resolve. The thread is marked as resolved.
  5. In the forecast toolbar, click Save. The changes to the thread are saved, along with any other changes to the forecast.
