Generating Forecast Data for an Opportunity

Typically, a scheduled process runs periodically to generate services forecast data for all eligible records, including opportunities. However, if you cannot wait until the next scheduled execution, you can run the process manually to generate data for a specific opportunity.

To generate forecast data for an opportunity:

1. From the Opportunities tab, open the opportunity you want to generate forecast data for.
2. Click Actions | Services Forecasting | Run Services Forecast.
3. Click Close. The process to generate forecast data runs in the background. However, additional processes must run before the data is available in existing forecasts or new forecasts are created. For more information, see Services Forecasting Scheduled Processes.
