Tracking for JET File

By using the history tracking functionality you can meet the French audit requirements using the mandatory JET codes 50, 60, and 410 detailed in the reference table for JET codes below. Refer to this table to meet the audit requirements for the other codes.

Setting up Tracking for JET File

Enable the history tracking functionality for the following fields required for the following JET codes:

• Code 50: Hard Close Options field on the Period object
• Code 60: Status field on the Year object

• Code 410. All these fields belong to the Accounting Company object:

  • City
  • Country
  • State/Province
  • Street
  • Tax Country Code
  • Tax Registration Number
  • Zip/Postal Code

Reference Table for JET Codes

This table shows the data required for each JET code and where to find it.

30	Fiscal year end or fiscal period end archiving	Files | Libraries | Audit File Library | FR
50	Period closing (day/month)	Period History section on the Related tab on the period record	You must check that the Hard Close Options field is populated.
60	Annual period end or fiscal period end closing	Year History section on the Related tab on the year record	The Status field is set to "Closing" or "Closed".
90	Detection of an integrity failure in secure data or in a fiscal tax archive	Audit file log records	You must check audit file log records with any of the following log types: "Error" "Information" "Abort" "External"
95	Detecting a break in the continuous sequence	Setup | View Setup Audit Trail	You must check rows with a "Sequences [fferpcore]" value in the Section column.
200	Data purging	Archive set records	You must check archive set records with a Complete status.
250	Installation of a major new version of the software	Setup | Installed Packages	You must check the Version Number and Installed Date fields for the Accounting package.
270	Evolution of rule compliance parameter	Accounting Company History section on the Related tab on the accounting company record	You must check changes to the Accounting Company fields listed in Setting up Tracking for JET File.
400	Change is fiscal year length	Period History section on the Related tab on the period record	You must check changes to the Start Date field, the End Date field, or both.
410	Change of data affecting the identification of the taxable person or agent	Accounting Company History section on the Related tab on the accounting company record	You must check changes to the Tax Registration Number field.
