Scheduled Job Fields

Here is a description of the columns, buttons, and actions available on the Scheduled Jobs subtab on the Foundations Setup tab.

Note:

An asterisk (*) indicates columns or buttons related to Scheduled Job Fields on the Scheduled Jobs Configuration page. For more information about these jobs, see the Scheduled Jobs Configuration section in Scheduled Jobs.

Columns

Scheduled Jobs Columns
Column Description
Name Displays the name of the scheduled job.
Next Run Displays if or when the job is scheduled to run. The date and time format is Month, Day (numeral), Year, Time (AM or PM).
Last Run Displays if or when the job was last run. The date and time format is Month, Day (numeral), Year, Time (AM or PM).
Scheduled Determines if the job is scheduled to run or not.
Actions Displays clickable items for running a job. For more information, see Actions.
Status *Blank – No job is running or has finished.
*In progress – The job has been triggered and is running.
*Error – The job failed to run. An error icon appears on the row — click it to view the failure details.
The job has finished.

Buttons

Button Description
Refresh Click to discard changes and reload the tab.
Save Click to save all changes made on the tab.
*Run Select one or more jobs, then click to run them.
*Disable Click in the row action dropdown for a scheduled job to disable its schedule.

Actions

Scheduled Job Actions
Action Description
Information icon Displays the job's scheduled run time.
Edit icon Enables you to schedule when to run a job. See "Schedule" for more information.
Run now icon Enables you to run a job immediately.
Scheduled Job Drop-Down Actions
Drop-Down Action Description
*Edit Schedule Click to open the schedule editor for the selected job. Configure the schedule settings and click Save to save the schedule and activate the job.
*Disable Schedule Click to disable the schedule of the selected job.
*Adjust Last Run Click to adjust the Last Run date and time for objects in the Generate Sequences configuration. Only available for the Generate Sequences job.

Scheduled Job Time
Time Description
Time Determines the specific time at which Foundations runs a job.
Day/Date Determines the specific days or dates on which Foundations runs a job.
Month Determines the specific month or months in which Foundations runs a job.
Year Determines the specific year or years in which Foundations runs a job.

Edit Schedule Fields

Edit Schedule Fields
Field Description
*Schedule Frequency Determines how often the job runs. Options: Hour, Daily, Weekly, Monthly.
*Schedule Start Time Determines the time at which the job starts running. Required.
*Repeat every Shown when Schedule Frequency is Hour or Monthly. Determines the interval between runs.
*Days of the week Shown when Schedule Frequency is Weekly. Select the days on which the job runs. At least one day must be selected.
*Monthly Method Shown when Schedule Frequency is Monthly. Determines how the monthly run date is defined. Options: Last Day of the Month, Date, Day of the Month, Days Before Month End.
*Day of the Month Shown when Monthly Method is Date. Enter the day of the month on which the job runs. Valid values: 1–31. Required.
*Day of the Month Shown when Monthly Method is Day of the Month. Select the ordinal occurrence within the month (for example, 1st or 2nd). Options: 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, Last.
*Day of the Week Shown when Monthly Method is Day of the Month. Select the day of the week on which the job runs.
*Number of Days Shown when Monthly Method is Days Before Month End. Enter the number of days before the end of the month on which the job runs. Valid values: 1–27. Required.
