Upgrading to Order and Inventory Management – FinancialForce Connector Summer 2026

This page describes the changes to make when upgrading to Summer 2026.

Override General Ledger Accounts on Inventory Transaction Financial Records

Upgrade Steps

To upgrade this feature to Summer 2026, take the following action.

To enable and configure the GLA override functionality, perform the following actions:

Action	Description
Enable the Custom Setting	In the OIM-FinancialForce Connector Settings page, navigate to the Inventory Transaction Perpetual Record to Journal section and select the Enable Override GLA on Financial Records checkbox.
Update Page Layouts	Add the Override GLA field to the Inventory Transaction Financial Record page layout.
Assign Permissions	Assign the OIM - Accounting - Pull Inventory Transactions permission set to users who need to read or edit the Override GLA field.
Admin Permissions	Ensure administrators responsible for connector settings are assigned the OIM - Accounting - Administration permission set to toggle the global override setting.

Inventory Transaction Financial Record Fields

Object	Field	Description
Inventory Transaction Financial Record	Override GLA	A lookup field to the General Ledger Account (GLA). When populated and the global setting is enabled, this value is used for the ITPR to Journal integration instead of the standard derivation.

Permission Sets

Permission Set	Description
OIM - Accounting - Pull Inventory Transactions	Updated to include Read and Edit access to the Override GLA field on the ITFR object.
OIM - Accounting - Administration	Updated to include permissions for managing the GLA override toggle within the OIM-FinancialForce Connector Settings.
