About Billing Forecast Overrides

We're retiring Billing Forecasting and it'll be deactivated in a future release, no sooner than Summer 2027. We'll continue to support Billing Forecasting until deactivation, but recommend that you start using Services Forecasting as your forecasting solution instead. Work with your administrator to start using Services Forecasting. For more information about Services Forecasting, see Generate Services Forecasts.

An override is a value you can enter that adjusts the original value generated by a billing forecast calculation. Overrides allow you to achieve more accurate forecasts by taking advantage of your users' insight into the business and their detailed up-to-date knowledge of projects and opportunities.
