Project Cost Fields

The Project Cost object includes the following fields.

Actual Delivery Date No The date the project cost is actually delivered.
Amount Yes The monetary amount of the project cost.
Approved for Forecast Actuals No If selected, the project cost is eligible to contribute to actuals when generating forecast data in Services Forecasting.
Cost Category No

The category for the project cost. You can select one of the following values:

  • Finance
  • Health and Safety
  • Human Resources
  • IT and Software
  • Marketing
  • Subcontractors
Cost Subcategory No

The subcategory for the project cost. The available values depend on the selected cost category:

  • Finance: Financial Services
  • Health and Safety: Health and Safety Services, Personal Protective Equipment
  • Human Resources: Training and Learning
  • IT and Software: Computers and Devices, Server Maintenance, Software Licenses
  • Marketing: Community Management, Digital Ads, Public Relations, SEO
  • Subcontractors: Consultant, Engineer, Project Manager, Solution Architect
Delivery Status No

The delivery status of the goods or services associated with the project cost. You can select one of the following values:

  • Canceled
  • Delivered
  • In Progress
  • Planned
Description No A description of the project cost.
End Date No The end date of the project cost. This date defines the end of the cost's duration on the project timeline. This field is used by Services Forecasting to generate forecast data for the project cost.
Expected Delivery Date No The date the project cost is expected to be delivered.
Project No The project that the project cost is associated with.
Project Cost Name Yes The name of the project cost.
Recognition Method No

The recognition method to apply to the project cost for Services Forecasting. Only the following values are valid:

  • Deliverable
  • Equal Split: Days
  • Equal Split: Months
  • Equal Split: Months/Actual Days in Part Periods
  • Equal Split: Months/Part Periods
  • Equal Split: 4,4,5
Start Date No The start date of the project cost. This date defines the beginning of the cost's duration on the project timeline. This field is used by Services Forecasting to generate forecast data for the project cost.
Vendor Account No The vendor account that relates to the project cost.
Vendor Purchase Order Number No The reference number of the vendor purchase order associated with the project cost.
Vendor Purchase Order Status No

The current status of the vendor purchase order associated with the project cost. You can select one of the following values:

  • Approved
  • Canceled
  • Closed
  • Disapproved
  • Open
  • Revised
  • Submitted for Approval
