Use this page to configure up to 20 resource search fields for contact fields that you want to use as a filter criteria when searching for resources. For information about resource search fields, see Resource Search Fields Overview.

The contact field that the resource search field is linked to. |
| Source Field on Resource Request |
The resource request field or lookup path that maps to the contact field. For more information, see Resource Search Field Mappings. |

New Resource Search Field
This window is displayed when you click New on the Configure Resource Search Fields page.
New Resource Search Field - Field Reference
| Contact Field |
The field on the Contact object that you want to use as a filter when searching for resources. |
| Resource Search Field Label |
A label that's used to identify the resource search field as a filter field. You can enter a label manually, or allow it to populate automatically when a contact field is selected. |
| Source Field on Resource Request |
A field on the Resource Request object that maps to the selected contact field. You must select a contact field before this field can be completed. Only resource request fields of the same type as the contact field are available for selection. You can also follow resource request lookup fields to reach a field on a related record. Lookup fields are shown in the drop-down with a trailing >. For more information about creating these mappings, see Resource Search Field Mappings. |
